BREA — One person was killed and two were injured in a two-vehicle collision Monday night in Brea. The collision was reported at 8:01 p.m. and Brea Police Department officers responded to Carbon Canyon Road, east of Olinda Village, where they learned the vehicles were involved in a head-on collision, according to the Brea Police Department. The road connects Brea and Chino Hills. The driver of one vehicle sustained major injuries and died at the scene and the driver and a passenger in the other vehicle suffered non-life- threatening injuries and were taken to two hospitals for treatment, police said.
