A Brea Police Department officer and another person were hospitalized Friday after suffering moderate injuries in a multi-vehicle collision in Brea. The officer was driving eastbound on Lambert Road while responding to an emergency at 5:30 p.m. with the car's lights and siren on when a vehicle driving northbound on Brea Boulevard collided with the police car, causing it to roll over and collide with other vehicles, according to a statement from the Brea Police Department. The officer and one of the drivers suffered moderate injuries and were taken to a hospital for treatment, the statement said.
