Three burglary suspects were arrested in Brea on Thursday after an early morning car chase resulted in damages to a resident's mailbox and vehicle, according to the Placentia Police Department. Placentia PD dispatched officers at 3:45 a.m. to respond to a vehicle burglary call at the 1500 block of Potomac Street in north Placentia. From an area search, night watch officers located a black Chevrolet Malibu that matched the description provided by the caller. Placentia PD said that the officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but the suspects fled the scene resulting in a car chase on the 57 freeway northbound.
